David Gale is an award-winning performer, writer, singer, comedian, director and host.  He’s best known as the cheeky and charming host of Loving Spoonfulsthe cooking with grandmothers TV series.  Gale won Gemini and Galaxi awards for hosting Loving Spoonfuls and the show is currently airing on Amazon Prime and Hulu in the U.S. (65 Episodes & 3 Specials) 

An accomplished actor Gale's recent TV acting credits include Suits, Degrassi: TNG, The Listener and Beauty and the Beast.  On film Gale was recently seen in the feature Portrait of a Serial Monogamist, starred in the short films Early Mourning and Trials & Tribulations and gave a revealing performance in iconic 90s film Zero Patience. His voice work includes Tin Tin, Barney’s Version and Chloe.  On stage he’s appeared in dramas: Unidentified Human Remains And The True Nature of Love, musicals: The Fantasticks and comedies: Old Jews Telling Jokes.  Gale’s own musical, Chutzpah à go-go (co-written with Randy Vancourt,) won a Dora Theatre award and played across Canada and in the U.S.  Gale has hosted The Doras, The Harolds and countless events and benefits.  He proudly serves as VP Communications for ACTRA Toronto.
